This eBook is one of the results of the Erasmus+ project entitled “LOAD – Life Of A Digi” coordinated by Rafał Maliszewski from Romuald Traugutt Catholic High School in Chojnice, Poland, with partners – students and teachers – from Romania (Colegiul National Gheorghe Lazar, Sibiu), Croatia (IX. Gimnazija, Zagreb), Spain (SEK-Atlantico SL, Pontevedra), Portugal (Agrupamento de Escolas de Casquilhos, Barreiro), and Turkey (Tevfik Ileri Anadolu Lisesi, Rize). Its main aim was to promote the awareness of the use of the Internet and ICT among students, teachers, parents, local communities.
The online tools presented in this eBook – compiled by students, advised by teachers, and used by students and teachers throughout the project – are all Web 2.0 tools. Web 2.0 is the current state of online technology as it compares to the early days of the Web, characterized by greater user interactivity and collaboration, more pervasive network connectivity, and enhanced communication channels.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, teachers and students have tried to discover new ways of teaching and learning that can foster online learning. One important aspect for the development of the current e-classroom is to make sure diverse and engaging online tools are utilized, which can help teachers and students make the most out of their teaching and learning.
